ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

NASA HUMAN EXPLORATION ROVER CHALLENGE

•It’s an engineering challenge where more than 90 international teams participate.

•The competition is organized every year by NASA at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, USA in order to get innovative ideas for their own rovers that will be send to Mars or the Moon.

•The Rover can only be moved by human strength.

•The Rover must complete a circuit of 1.3 km in the less time possible. After 7 minutes, the team is disqualified.

•Compact configuration size max. 5ft x 5ft x 5ft.

•Two team members on board.

•No fluids available.
